The Egg Chapel is made by hand of wood by a team of boat builders in Rhode Island and then shipped by boat to Inchon then by truck to Seoul.
The Egg Chapel is a small, non-denomenational pilgrimage chapel for a few people in quiet rituals of weddings, baptisms, anniversaries led by Pastor Song. It holds and carries a 14 foot wide wood interior floor in one tall egg-space. The door faces south so that direct afternoon sun lights the center and bathes the altar in daily light. To enter the Egg Chapel is to return to some interior sense, memory, and reminder of beginning.
